Growing Stronger Families
Growing Stronger Families is a discipleship ministry of Calvary Baptist Church started over twenty years ago. Each year dozens of families meet in small groups to study practical ways to apply God's word to their parenting. Our curriculum is based upon the Growing Kids God's Way model of biblical parenting, published by Growing Families International, and Dr. Paul David Tripp's Approach in, "Age of Opportunity". The material is developmental and age specific to meet common challenges that parenting in the information age brings.
- To strengthen the husband/wife relationship
- To provide practical instruction that will help parents understand God's principles for parenting
- To instill in parents the confidence that God's Word is sufficient for every challenge they will face
- To cultivate long-term healthy adult relationships with our children
- To facilitate discipleship relationships among parents
- To promote an attitude of other-centeredness
