The outreach ministry of Calvary Baptist Church emphasizes equipping Christians to share the message of salvation through Jesus Christ both in what they say and in what they do. We accomplish this through individual training, small group ministry, and community outreach events. God’s heart is to reach out to those separated from him by their sin, and that should be our heart and mission as well.
Our greeters are church members who provide a friendly face, warm welcome, and directions to visitors and members.
Our hospitality ministry is designed to introduce guests to our church in a more personal manner. It is geared toward ministering to those who attend our services as guests by purposeful interaction such as hosting meals and gatherings.
In an effort to reach the community for Christ, we plan events where evangelism is the intent. An outreach event helps members put hands and feet to their faith by planning an informal time to reach friends, family members, co-workers, and others with the Gospel.
The ushers provide a pleasant greeting and give assistance in seating guests. They also collect the tithes and offerings as part of the worship service.
