In-Person Gathering Update:
What to Expect on Sunday Morning at Calvary
Thank you for your patience and prayers as we wrestle to comply with local government pandemic requirements in a manner that applies biblical principles (i.e., Romans 14) while honoring both individual liberty and social responsibility. Our highest goal is always the glory of our Savior. As we humbly seek His wisdom in the midst of the continually evolving COVID-19 situation, included below are our current recommendations for our Sunday gatherings.
We are strongly encouraging all who are in attendance on Sunday in the following areas
- Please wear a mask throughout the morning. With the current spikes in the virus, this is a simple way we can consider one another (while recognizing that varying medical and personal concerns exist on this subject). We understand that some will not be wearing a mask due to a medical condition (including those with respiratory issues that impede breathing, mental health condition, or disability), and will be able to seat you appropriately if needed.
- Please exercise recommended social distancing. We are asking that you keep your mask on after the service as you leave the building; however, feel free to remove your mask after exiting the building as you practice social distancing while fellowshipping outside.
- For persons over 65 or at increased risk, we ask that you exercise appropriate caution if you decide to join us in person. We also understand if you prefer to stay home and watch the live stream. Thank you for your consideration in these matters.
Please pray for our Lord to be honored and for His working in the church body as we proceed in this difficult and ongoing situation. We welcome your questions and concerns and encourage you to call or email any of the elders.
