Mission , Vision, & values

We exist as a church to glorify God by following His Son through Spirit-empowered obedience in making disciples of all nations, by going, teaching, and baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19-20; I Corinthians 10:31)

The vision of Calvary Baptist Church is to follow Jesus together in working to accomplish this mission in Montgomery County and around the world. 

        By knowing Him personally and worshiping Him collectively.            (Hebrews 10:24-25)
     Is my relationship with God my daily priority? 

By learning what it means and doing what it says. (Deuteronomy 29:29)
     Am I living out what I am learning from the Bible? 

   By relating authentically with others for their good and my growth.              (I Thessalonians 5:11)
     Am I cultivating intentional relationships for growth? 

By extending the gospel to others right here and around the world. (Acts 1:8)
     Am I actively participating in God’s transforming work in the world? 

As stewards of God’s gifts and servants in God’s plan. (Matthew 6:19-21)
     Am I faithfully leveraging all that God has given me for His glory?
