Pastor Tim Jordan
Elder, Senior Pastor
Tim has been the Senior Pastor at Calvary since 1986. Prior to that, he served as an assistant pastor at Calvary for ten years. He has been at Calvary since the age of one when his dad, Dr. E. R. Jordan, became the first full-time pastor of the church. Tim trusted Christ as his Savior as a preschool child. Tim is married to his wife, Marilyn, and they have five adult children—Stephanie, Sarah, Tim Jr., Sharon, and Stephen. Besides serving in ministry and spending time with his family, Tim’s primary hobby and passion is hunting.
A particularly meaningful text of Scripture to Tim is Psalm 119:162—"I rejoice at your word as one that finds great spoil." Tim’s comment on this verse is—“Whether the private devotional reading or the in-depth study of His Word for teaching and preaching, His Word remains a power delight to my heart.”

Pastor Troy Gahman
Elder, Associate Pastor
Troy served as the youth pastor at Calvary for 11 years beginning in 1993. Since 2004, he has served as an associate pastor, focusing on Adult Ministries and Missions. He came to Calvary as a baby and has been part of the church most of his life. Troy has been married to his wife, Danielle, since 1993 and has four children—Derek, Carissa, Drew, and Grant. Troy enjoys spending time with his family and loves to play sports of all kinds, but particularly basketball and golf. He came to know Christ as his personal Savior at the age of ten.
The book of Philippians as a whole is a portion of the Bible that has been and continues to be especially important and transformational in his life. The challenge of the book to “make Christ your life and the gospel your passion” is a truth that he desires to shape his life, his family, and his ministry. I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord (Phil. 3:10).

Jordan is married to his wife, Ashleigh, and they have three daughters—Peyton, Logan, and Ella. Jordan enjoys refinishing furniture, working on home projects, watching Philly sports, and making up stories to share with his girls. Jordan sites Proverbs 3:5-7 as an important passage of Scripture in his life—it was the first message that he preached in public and is a message he preaches to himself every day. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. Connect with Jordan

Lay Elder, Music & Media Director
Ben grew up at Calvary and came to know Christ as his Savior at an early age when he recognized he was a sinner who deserved God’s wrath and that he needed Jesus’ blood to cover his sin. Ben has served in a variety of ministries over the years and currently leads our Music and Media ministry and teaches one of our Adult Bible Fellowship classes in addition to serving as an Elder. Ben is married to his wife, Sara, and he has four children—Andrew, Jeffrey, Abigail and Emily. He enjoys reading, gardening, wood working and weightlifting.
Ben is reminded by Matthew 6:19-21 of what is important and what is eternal. For where your treasure is, there WILL your heart be also. Ben says, “In a world obsessed with money and financial security, I need the reminder of the certainty of eternal investment on a regular basis.”

Mike works as a CFO at a local company and serves at Calvary in a variety of areas—ABF, Community Groups, music—in addition to serving as an Elder. Mike came to Calvary in 2008 after moving into the area from Texas. The Lord has used the ministry of Calvary to mature his faith and increase his knowledge of the Him and His Word. Mike trusted Christ as his Savior at the age of 12 years old. He is married to Andrea, and they have three children—Jared, Brett and Aimee. Mike enjoys the outdoors—camping, fishing, hiking, playing golf—and doing any of those things with his boys makes them even better. He also loves fantasy football and is fascinated by statistics and analytics.
God used Matthew 6:19-21 to change Mike’s heart about being a cheerful giver and prepare his and Andrea’s heart for the international adoption that they are pursuing. He also clings to Galatians 2:20—I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. “I am not a slave to my sinful flesh anymore—Christ’s power is inside of me through the Holy Spirit to kill those desires. And when I fail, I can remember that He gave Himself as a substitute so that I’m no longer condemned.”

John and his wife, Maelynn, and their two children, Maegan and Bobby, came to Calvary in 2006 from Lake Orion, Michigan. John works as a mechanical/process engineer in Delaware. John came to faith in Christ at the age of 26 after hearing the gospel from his friend Maelynn, who became his wife a year later. He enjoys “dating” his wife on a regular basis—they enjoy driving up and down the Delaware River looking for a nice spot for dinner and conversation. John has served as an usher and deacon at Calvary and now joyfully teaches the Sojourner Adult Bible Fellowship class along with serving as an Elder.
John sites Colossians 1:21-23 as a particularly meaningful text of Scripture: And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard . . . Reflecting on this text, John says: “The only proper response from redeemed sinners like us is unending gratitude and worship for the richness of grace that our Savior freely poured out. His blood can make the foulest clean, His blood availed for me!”

Kevin serves as the president of Kevin Ryan Total Tennis and also runs multiple tennis programs at area youth and racquet clubs. Kevin came to Calvary in 1994 and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in 1999 from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary, the same year he married his wife, Michelle. Kevin and Michelle have three sons—Caleb, Daniel and Joshua. They have faithfully served in a variety of ministries during their time at Calvary. Kevin came to know the Lord while on the professional tennis tour in November of 1987 as a direct result of hearing the good news of the gospel. He enjoys playing tennis and golf and serves on the executive committee of the US Professional Teachers Association for tennis. Kevin is an avid reader and loves to teach his children the Bible and about sports.
Kevin sites Romans 10:9-10 as the key passage of Scripture that the Lord used to lead him to salvation. He also finds great joy from Ephesians 2:8-9—"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works so that no one may boast." In Kevin’s words: “This Scripture continually fills my soul, realizing that God reaches down, by grace to save me. I can never earn my way to reach God or get to heaven. It is only by His grace through faith that one is forgiven and given, as a gift, eternal life. My life’s goal is to boast about God.”
