Calvary Baptist Church of Lansdale seeks a godly minister to lead the discipleship ministry of the church. This minister will play a key role in helping the church accomplish its mission to “grow disciples who make disciples.”
In addition to being a hands-on discipler, this minister will lead the lay and vocational ministers of Calvary Baptist to effectively disciple people in their spheres of influence.
Qualifications

• A vibrant relationship with God coupled with the Scriptural qualifications as listed in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
• Ordination along with a master’s/seminary degree in a ministry field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to oversee and empower lay ministers.
• A deep desire to disciple others and a track record of doing so.
• A team player and a team builder.

Key Tasks

• To oversee the small group ministry of CBC, including bible studies and fellowship groups. This will involve the recruitment and training of small group leaders.
• To oversee the Journey Groups (small group discipleship ministry) providing support, training and vision for its continued success.
• To lead the church in the implementation of a discipleship culture church wide.
• To lead the “front door” ministries of CBC, including the welcome, assimilation, and security ministries.
• To be part of the senior minister team, along with the Lead Pastor and the Administrative Pastor, to provide pastoral oversight to the church, and to participate in the preaching ministry of CBC at the Lead Pastor’s direction.  

Role and Compensation

• This role is a full-time pastor/elder position.
• 5 years of ministry experience is required.
• Compensation is commensurate with experience.
• Reports to the Lead Pastor.
