Forgiveness

pastor Steve’s sermon explored the biblical call to forgiveness found in Ephesians 4:31-32, challenging us to put away bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, slander, and malice, and instead be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving toward one another. We were reminded that forgiveness is not optional for Christians—it's the very heart of what God has done for us through Christ. Just as God forgave us an unpayable debt through Jesus' sacrifice, we are called to extend that same grace to others. The message emphasized that holding onto unforgiveness doesn't just hurt others; it poisons our own souls and grieves the Holy Spirit who dwells within us.
