The Anatomy of False Teaching

Pastor Pete led us through the anatomy of false teaching in our modern context, particularly as it spreads through social media and digital platforms. We explored how Satan uses these channels to disciple believers away from biblical truth, often catching us when our guard is down. The message challenged us to recognize that we're not failing to be discipled—rather, we must be intentional about who is doing the discipling. Through 1 Timothy 4:1-5, we discovered that false teaching has spiritual origins in demonic forces, often adds to or subtracts from Scripture, and can only be combated through anchoring ourselves in God's Word, cultivating thankfulness, and maintaining a life of dependent prayer.
