The Child Who Holds It All Together

Who is He in yonder stall? He is the image of the invisible God, the Creator of all things, and the One who holds your life together.

This Christmas, we celebrated the baby in the manger, but Colossians 1:15-20 reminds us that Jesus didn't come just to give us warm feelings. He came as Creator entering His creation, Sustainer submitting to be sustained, and King dying for His people. The hands held in Bethlehem are the same hands holding the universe together right now.

As we step into 2026, the question isn't just "Did you celebrate Christmas?" but "Is Christ preeminent in your life?" He doesn't want to be a passenger in your journey. He is the way. Trust His control over yours. Put Him first practically, not just theologically. Model His peace and reconciliation in your relationships.

Christmas points to the cross. Joy has dawned. Peace has come. And His name is Jesus.
